CRANE is a consortium of 22 local education agencies, including county offices of education and school districts with many other post-secondary, industry, civic/government, and community based partners. The CRANE initiative is jointly led by the Sacramento and Placer County Offices of Education.

The work of CRANE is guided by 5 key goals:

  • Integrate rigorous academics into Career Technical Curriculum

  • Align and articulate High School and College Curriculum

  • Develop a regional system of Work-Based Learning activities

  • Create personalized support to ensure student success

  • Integrate business & entrepreneurship in all pathways
